Samantha Colletta Kolk, aka 'hullosam' is a Canadianbred, Ontario native who grew up in Toronto, then moved to the suburbs of Montreal in her later youth. Having moved around a lot - Connecticut to Nashville, then most recently Charlotte, she's always up for new adventures. She has a slight obsession with make-up (especially a good lipstick), the beach, sushi, anything musical and Parisian.
Having spent most of her life with sensitivities and intolerances - ranging from skin, to food, dairy and more - Sammie lives a gluten-free, dairy-free and somewhat sugar-free life. (The latter is not so easy, with the sweet-tooth she has.) Her love for all things 'clean' came into fruition when she realized that she not only wanted to put pure, safe and healthy things in her body - but ON her body. After-all, skin is a highly complex functioning organ that reflects ones health and wellbeing. If the health of ones skin is nurtured, this helps to promote full health to the body & mind. In return, this can also promote healthy glowing skin.
'hullosam' wishes to enlighten her audience with the joys of products in the clean beauty industry and more. Her platforms showcase positivity, style, beautifully branded products and photos. Along with her passion and dedication, Sammie also prides herself on maintaining a clean, minimalistic approach. Last but not least, with a background in makeup-artistry, her goal is to make her followers feel as beautiful on the outside, as they are on the inside. She believes the human visage is an artistic expression of ones creativity, as well as a canvas, allowing to portray emotion and style. Lending tips and tricks on how to achieve a specific look, or where to buy products is one of her favourite things to do!
